OUTtv COMMISSIONS THREE NEW SERIES
NETWORK ORDERS SENSE APPEAL, THE WHOLE PACKAGE AND HE’S FIT!
VANCOUVER, BC – April 5, 2018 – OUttv, Canada’s LGBTQ network, has commissioned three new series, Sense Appeal from Go Button Media, The Whole Package from Convergent Entertainment and He’s Fit! from Hey Qween. In addition, the network has ordered a fourth season of Don’t Quit Your Gay Job also from Convergent Entertainment.
Sense Appeal (10 x 30’) is a unique studio-based dating series that will launch Fall 2018. The series, from Go Button Media, tests all five senses when it comes to choosing a mate. In each episode, singles are put to the test, getting to smell, touch, hear and even taste their potential matches before picking just one of them to take out on a date.
“Go Button is thrilled about engaging in this sexy new social experiment with OUTtv and finding out what happens when someone’s senses, their body, makes dating decisions for them,” stated Natasha Ryan, Executive Producer, Go Button Media.
The Whole Package (10 x 30’), produced by Convergent Entertainment and premiering Fall 2018, is the ultimate search for a male underwear model. In conjunction with international underwear brand Dirt Squirrel, wannabe models compete for a chance to be a Dirt Squirrel model, photo spread in DNA Magazine and a cash prize of $5,000.
“We can’t wait to join Dirt Squirrel on their search to find the man who has the looks, attitude and charisma to be their next model,” said Philip Webb, Vice President of Production, Convergent Entertainment. “We look forward to bringing this sexy search to OUTtv viewers.”
He’s Fit! (10 x 30’), from Hey Qween TV, stars international health and fitness expert and author Craig Ramsay as he challenges some of social media’s biggest posers and jocks to a bunch of He’s Fit challenges, culminating in the Final Flex Battle. The series will launch on the network Fall 2018.
“Craig Ramsay is the perfect host for He’s Fit,” said Jonny McGovern, Executive Producer, Hey Queen TV. “Just like the show he is a sassy mix of sexiness, humor and fitness knowledge.”
In the fourth season of Don’t Quit Your Gay Job (5 x 30’), Adam and Tommy return to try their hands at lumberjacking, running food trucks and sanitation work, amongst other jobs, while Robyn Edwards presents and referees the competition. The first four seasons of the series aired in multiple territores including the U.S., the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden and New Zealand.
