OUTtv Announces Two New Commissions and Two Season Renewals

OUTtv, Canada’s only and the world’s first LGBTQ+ television network has greenlit two new commissions and two season renewals.

New shows ordered by the network include docu-series The Villberg Chronicles from Duo RAW AB and Dating Unlocked, a reality series from Border to Border. In addition to this, Slo Pitch from Shaftesbury and Metreosexual from Humdrum Comedy will be returning to the network for a second season.

The Villberg Chronicles (6 x 30’) | Factual

A comedic and informative docu-series featuring avant-garde Swedish drag duo, The Villbergs, on an adventure around Sweden. From the far reaches of the Arctic North to the Southern coast, the pair introduce us to Sweden through their eyes, showing us not only what the country is best known for, but what they think it should be known for.

Metrosexual, Season 2 (6 x 30’) | Comedy

Sexual health doctors Langdon and Steph have a tough enough job as it is, but when a outbreak of sexually transmitted infections rock Melbourne, their lives are made even harder. Now Langdon and Steph must do whatever they can to get the crisis under control, while also juggling friendships, relationships with colleagues, and their love lives.

Slo Pitch, Season 2 (10 x 10’) | Comedy

It’s a new season, and Toronto’s worst slo pitch team, the Brovaries, are stepping up to the plate and…the altar! With Sasha and Joanne’s impending nuptials scheduled to take place at the end of the season, the Brovaries will give it their all to get Joanne to the championships and to the church (ahem CITY HALL) on time.

Dating Unlocked (10 x 20’) | Reality

Daters compete in an elimination style competition to unlock the chance of a second date and the possibility of everlasting love, or a one-night stand depending on those involved.
