Neighbours moves in to OUTtv

VANCOUVER, BC – APRIL 4, 2017 – OUTtv, Canada’s LGBTQ television network today announced that Australia’s longest running drama, Neighbours, is coming to Canada. Starting April 20, 2017, Canadian viewers will be able to watch the daily drama exclusively on OUTtv. New episodes will air Mondays to Fridays at 2:30pm ET and 5:30pm ET, on the same date as the Australian broadcast, with an omnibus of five episodes on Saturdays. Plus, OUTtvGO subscribers will be able to stream episodes at any time.

Set against the sunny backdrop of a Melbourne cul-de-sac, Neighbours is an engaging drama that follows the residents of Ramsay Street in the fictional borough of Erinsborough, who deal with challenges and issues that ordinary people face every day. Neighbours has launched the careers of a plethora of talent including Emmy® Award winner Guy Pearce (Mildred Pierce, When We Rise, The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert), Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street, Suicide Squad), Jesse Spencer (House, Chicago Fire), BRIT award winning recording artist Natalie Imbruglia and the Grammy® and BRIT award winning pop icon Kylie Minogue.

Since launching in Australia in 1985, Neighbours has grown into a television phenomenon with over 7,000 episodes produced to date. The series attracts a global legion of devoted fans and is viewed by millions daily across multiple international territories, making it the most successful Australian television export in history.
