OUTtv AND BREAKING GLASS PICTURES ANNOUNCE NEW OUTPUT DEAL
Agreement will expand OUTtv’s Growing Film Collection with Acclaimed LGBTQ+ Titles from Breaking Glass Pictures
VANCOUVER, BC and PHILADELPHIA, PA – April 25, 2018 – OUTtv and Breaking Glass Pictures today announced an output agreement that grants OUTtv the linear and streaming rights to films released by the producer and distributor. Through the multi-year deal, current and future films released by Breaking Glass Pictures will air exclusively on OUTtv in Canada, following their theatrical runs. In addition, said titles will stream exclusively on OUTtvGo.com, OUTtv’s SVOD platform. The deal is the first output licensing agreement for both OUTtv and Breaking Glass Pictures.
The agreement builds on OUTtv and Breaking Glass’ existing relationship and builds the network’s library of feature films and on-going supply of content to support upcoming international launches. With this deal, a significant amount of high quality LGBTQ+ content will be delivered to audiences the world over.
